Best Anime of 2015: Anime (Subjective)

This post is generally going to be a more of a subjective view for what I believe to be the best Anime of 2015 is. With that being said, those who have similar interests to me, such as the genres I like or the different niches I like will probably get more of an insight to what was the best, or whats good for them. This year provided a lot of anime in the genres I liked such as RomComs and slice of life. With that being said:

Deirii Raifu’s Pick:

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou – ‘Monsutas Raifu’

“Hey Darling”

With everything being said, MonMusu takes my top spot for anime of the year. Its brightly colored animations plus very energetic characters provided for a fun ride every episode. The atmosphere was quite enjoying and high spirited. With a main focus on the different characters, it was nice to see all the interactions between the girls and of course the main protagonist, Kurusu Kimihito. With all the different gags in the show revolving around either, some kind of misunderstanding or the girls vying for “Darling’s” affection allowed for the show to flow from segment to segment. Providing those “HNNGGHH” moments and those heartfelt ones, are what pushed it over for me.

Runners Up:

2) Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka
3) Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku
Special Mentions: Non Non Biyori Repeat, Owarimonogatari

Roto’s Pick:

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Zoku – The story of our hero, 8man.

Subjectively, Yahari Zoku is the anime of the year of 2015. Not only is this anime relatable in some form or fashion to all the young people out there, it allows older people to look back at their past. A quick jab or snide comment here and there throughout the series works well with the overall serious overtone of the series. Yahari once again has shown the ability to teach people new things about thinking, as well as allows us to experience different viewpoints, by looking from the other side of the glass (The cup is too big).

Runners Up:

2) Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
3) Aldnoah Zero S2
Special Mentions: Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works S2
